Studio 24 is a complete performance education facility. We have four large dance studios with sprung floors, full-length mirrors and all studios are air-conditioned, our dancers are very lucky to have a dancers lounge including a kitchen and of course accomplished professional teaching staff.
We even have a fully-stocked dance shop for all our students' needs.
Our diverse range of classes includes various dance and performance styles, constantly updated to reflect the cutting edge of today's music and today's industry demands.

Of course if being a professional dancer is not what you desire for your child our Recreational program teaches children to be confident team members to be reliable, dedicated and disciplined. They will learn that hard work and commitment pays off all while making friendships that will last a lifetime.
Our dance classes are either 45 minute or one hour duration to make sure the students receive the best possible training including a 15 minute body conditioning warm up.

Dance classes are $16.50 for a one hour class and paid by the Term. ( discounts apply for multiple classes)
We offer a 5% Discount per child for Families. ( 2 or more children)
For Dancers 2- 5 years we offer the Official READY SET DANCE , READY SET BALLET and READY SET ACRO programs as we believe every child should start their life with dance.
We even have a class for toddlers ( that can walk) 18 months upwards READY SET MOVE.

READY SET MOVE is a creative movement and music class for toddlers 18 months to 3 years and their grown up. The class consists of 3 sections – ENGAGE, EXPLORE AND EXPRESS.The ENGAGE section is a playful exploration of music, nursery rhymes, lap play and parachute fun. The EXPLORE section is set up as a circuit around the room with obstacles like stepping stones, tunnels and sensory activities designed to encourage investigation and build coordination skills. The EXPRESS section of the class involves free dance movement which develops creativity with instruments, feathers and bubbles.
Join our community and learn new ways to interact with your toddler. Young children at this age are in the period of highest brain growth and development in their lifespan.
Participating in READY SET MOVE with the support of a grown up can make a significant contribution to play, development and learning. So come and bounce like a bunny, be slow like a sloth and create memories with your special little mover.

Ready Set Ballet
READY SET BALLET is a 30 minute magical ballet experience for children aged 3-5 years old. Twirl our mascot will lead our little dancers through each step of the class as they learn the fundamentals of ballet.MUSIC – Engage in specifically designed music that captures the beauty of classical ballet
CURRICULUM – Develop coordination, body awareness, strength and flexibility both through visual and auditory instruction.
MIME – Explore creativity and gain confidence by going on a picnic with FREEZE and TWIRL, riding the tutu train to storybook lane and so much more.
THEMED DANCES – Learn the beautifully themed dances that have music prompts to support preschooler’s playful participation.
PROPS – Have fun twirling with rainbow ribbons, swaying with feathers and popping bubbles. These resources support tactile awareness and strengthen fine motor coordination and control.

Ready Set Dance
READY SET DANCE is a combo class of JAZZ, TAP, HIP HOP, SINGING and MUSIC and a whole lot of fun! Our award winning preschool program offers dance classes for children aged 3-5.JAZZ – Develop muscle strength, control and balance and achieve coordination milestones like skipping before going to school.
HIP HOP – Bust out some ice cold moves just like Freeze to our original hip hop tracks.
MUSIC – Develop the musical ear, dynamics and tempo while having fun with instruments and the parachute.
SINGING – Sing like Twirl and build confidence singing on the microphone.
TAP – Learn the fundamentals of tap in a playful and creative way splashing in puddles and shuffling like a penguin.
All these ingredients together create a super hour of fun!

Ready Set Acro
READY SET ACRO is a collaborative acrobatic program developed with Industry Leader Acrobatic Arts, specifically designed for preschoolers aged 3-5 years old. The 30 minute class emphasises safe and effective progressions to foster the physical and social skills needed for healthy early childhood development.The program is developed with original music with lyric cues and focuses on three key components: Stretch, Strength, and Skills.
STRETCH: Enhance flexibility and expand the range of motion in all major muscle groups.
STRENGTH: Young learners engage in a variety of exercises designed to promote physical strength and control.
SKILLS: Preschoolers develop social literacy and build confidence while exploring a wide range of AcroDance movements.

This is a one hour class that includes Jazz, Tap and Hip Hop. It is the perfect class for the dancers that have graduated from Ready Set dance as it continues the training of the 3 genres they have been learning.What to Wear:

Jazz
Jazz is known to be a highly choreographed dance form. It features a mixture of sharp and fluid movements, popping & locking and animated expression similar to dances seen on commercial video clips. This stylized combination of street funk, hip hop and pop is similar to styles seen in music videos for Beonce, Lady Gaga, Michael Jackson, Britney Spears and Janet Jackson.WHAT TO WEAR:Studio 24 uniforms are compulsory

Hip Hop
The popularity of movies such as You Got Served and Honey has seen hip-hop become the most talked about dance style of recent times.The framework of Studio 24s hip-hop programme allows students with little or no dance experience through to the most advanced dancers to participate actively in every class. Class begins with a hip-hop warm-up where students follow the teachers movement, moving on to gentle stretches and dance combinations which are great for fitness. In the last part of the class students will learn a hip-hop dance. Hip-hop classes are a great way to get together with friends and learn new skills - and because hip-hop is arguably as much about 'attitude as it is about technique, students of all abilities are sure to have a great time.WHAT TO WEAR: Studio 24 uniforms are compulsory

Acrobatics
There are some children you just can't get to stand on their feet, they are constantly upside down either doing cartwheels or handstands. This is the class they can use all that energy and channel it into fantastic acrobatic skills. Students that want to take part in our end of year concert will need to take an additional dance class.All our classes are one hour duration to make sure the students receive the best possible training including a 15 minute body conditioning warm up.
Classes start with stretching, strengthening, cartwheels; bend backs, somersaults etc. and work up to flipping, aerial work and balances in advanced classes. Students are individually assisted with tricks on mat by experienced teachers. Classes are based on ability level and students have the opportunity to move up levels throughout the year once new tricks have been mastered.

Lyrical
Lyrical - dance challenges choreographers and dancers to use motion to interpret music and express emotion. A lyrical dancer's movements attempt to show the meaning of the music. Lyrical jazz is a very passionate and emotional dance style. It portrays certain emotions such as love, and tells a story through every movement made.What To Wear : Studio 24 uniforms are compulsory

Comp Squad
Comp Squad is an elite level of training designed for the most committed dancers who are ready to train to competition level and aspire to become professional performers.Dancers in Comp Squad need a very high level of commitment and discipline. The expectation on Comp Squad dancers is higher than dancers in the Recreational school. Studio 24 enter very competitive dance troupes into dance competitions, so dancers must be available to compete in Troupes in the July school holidays.
Studio 24 has Comp Squad auditions at the end of the year. These auditions are open to all mainstream dancers. We also open auditions to the public.

Silks
This class is a skills class only and does not take part in Showcase. This class is suitable for dancers 8 years upwards as younger children do not have the upper body strength for Aerial skills. We recommend Acrobatic classes for 6-7 years.This class is one hour duration to make sure the students receive the best possible training including a 15 minute body conditioning warm up.

This class is dedicated to learning, improving, and perfecting technique in jumps, leaps, turns.. Stretch and strengthening is also combined to improve dancers power and range of motion. Focus is on personal development and growth in flexibility, leaps and turns. This class is for the dancer looking to go further with their technique and training.What To Wear : Studio 24 uniforms are compulsory

Ballet
All of our ballet classes stress correct placement (body alignment), and correct classical ballet technique. Class level is determined by the instructor, and is based on an individual assessment when the student takes a trial class.WHAT TO WEAR: Studio 24 uniforms are compulsory
